As a Christian we are taught over and over to always in everything trust in God. And well, we should since that one character trait is taught at least 13 times in the New Testament. When the world sees the Christian relying on God during uncertain times it provides God with an opportunity to teach a lost person that not only does God exist but He is active in the lives of His children.  The opposite of trusting in God is anxiety, worry, and frustration. They are far too often our responses to the worldly dilemmas. Remember this very important verse the next time you are tempted to throw your hands up and allow a lost person to see your flesh, (John 16:30-33) 31 Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?  32 "Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet  I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.  33 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."  NASU

Jesus knew what it meant to be alone so He made sure that we would know that we will never be alone.  The next time life gets really tough remember He is there and it is a good chance that He has already overcome your problem. It is up to you to put your faith in action.
